For Sale: 1974 BMW 2002 in Yorktown Heights, New York for sale in Yorktown Heights, NY

Vehicle Description The BMW 2002 is the defining archetype of modern BMW, a great handling, sporty car that you can use every day.
Owning and experiencing this important historical icon has been an absolute pleasure as it is rewarding to drive, great to look at, and relatively cheap to run.
I bought this car about a year ago from a collector who did an extensive mechanical restoration but decided not to follow through with the rest of the car as he had already done many 2002's.
I have included an image of the original listing which lists some of the work that he did to the car.
Aside from that work, I have also found out through my mechanic, who has been with the car before and throughout my ownership, that the car is equipped with an upgraded distributor.
During my ownership, I have had the rusty floors cut out and repaired, lined the floors with dynamat, replaced the carpets, reupholstered the seats with new cushions, installed a new windshield, replaced most of the weatherstrip, installed a new gas tank, and had an electronic ignition system installed.
The car starts, runs, and drives very well, I have never had a mechanical problem with it.
I am selling the car because I want a car with at least 5 gears for the highway.
With all the work that has been done, the car is in excellent drivers condition but does have some minor work that is missing in order to be a perfect car (The paint needs attention, the headliner is a bit dirty, and the sunroof is inoperable).
Regardless of the work needed, this car can be enjoyed to its fullest extent as is.
Thank you very much for your interest and time; please contact me for any additional information or to schedule a viewing of the car.
I am open to offers.
A quick side note, this car will be appearing in an upcoming film called, As Sick As They Made Us, in which Simon Helberg's character watches a funeral from inside the car.
