Research Staff Member-Unit Processes

Job Description
The Unit Process Group at the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center is seeking a Research Staff Member with expertise in physical chemistry, electrochemistry /materials science/surface science for the Advanced Planarization & Electrochemical Processes Group to participate in its exploratory research efforts.
You will be responsible for developing unit processes including electrodeposition, advanced planarization processes for future devices for Quantum computing, neuromorphic and IoT applications. You will be involved in the development and delivery of unit processes that can achieve atomic scale precision for advanced CMOS devices and novel memory systems, as well as novel processes for advanced packaging technology for quantum computing applications.
Relevant expertise and/or experience in semiconductor processing and related areas are desired. A background, or expertise, in materials and process integration, process development, performance evaluation, data collection and analysis using electrochemical techniques for advanced node BEOL is preferred. Experience in TSV filling by electroplating would be a plus. Proven written and verbal communication skills, as well as a demonstrated publication and invention disclosure record are also critical.
Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, surface chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science or a related discipline is required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
